Absolutely Nothing. SmartX operates with a "zero data collection" policy.

⚙️ How SmartX Works

SmartX processes all documents locally on your device using:

• On-Device OCR: Text recognition happens entirely on your iPhone/iPad
• Local Storage: Documents are saved only to your device or your chosen cloud service
• Direct Cloud Sync: If you choose cloud sync, files go directly from your device to your cloud account (iCloud, Google Drive, etc.)

We never see your documents or data at any point in this process.

☁️ Cloud Storage

When you use cloud sync features:

• Files are uploaded directly from your device to your chosen cloud service
• SmartX acts only as a conduit - we never store or access your cloud data
• Your relationship with cloud providers (Apple, Google, etc.) is governed by their privacy policies
• You can disable cloud sync at any time in the app settings

🔒 Security

SmartX implements robust security measures:

• Local Processing: No data transmission to our servers
• Encrypted Storage: Documents stored using iOS encryption standards
• Password Protection: Optional document-level password protection
• Secure Deletion: Deleted documents are permanently removed from your device

👶 Children's Privacy

SmartX is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Since we don't collect any data, there are no special considerations for users under 13. Parents can confidently allow children to use SmartX knowing their privacy is fully protected.

🌍 International Users

SmartX complies with international privacy regulations including:

• GDPR (European Union): No data collection means automatic compliance
• CCPA (California): No personal information is collected or sold
• Other Jurisdictions: Zero data collection ensures global privacy compliance
